Easter comes early this spring. In fact, its eponymous bunny hops into town on Sunday, March 31. If you’re at a loss for what to buy for the kids in your life, don’t worry. I’ve got loads of Easter basket ideas, and I know what I’m talking about—I’m Reviewed’s Parenting editor, and mom to twins.

To make gathering Easter basket stuffers easier, I’ve gathered a list of my favorite and best-loved gifts, for kids of a range of ages. I’ve got hands-on experience with them all, from old favorites like Legos to more out-of-the-box tween pleasers like Japanese soda and candy.

10 Easter basket ideas for toddlers through teens

These adorable, soft Squishmallows make a timely addition to your kid's Easter squad.

Best for ages: 3 and up

There is almost no occasion where we cannot recommend a Squishmallow as a great gift, and Easter is no exception. This year’s crop of Easter-themed plush pals offers 12 new, 7.5-inch friends, including a sweet floral pig and a blue bird in bunny ears.

These smaller sized Squishmallows are portable enough to carry in a backpack, making them an easy and ideal fit for an Easter basket.

Only a few versions are currently sold out so there’s still plenty of time to snag a squirrel in a flower crown or a smiling easter chick.

9. Sakura box with traditional Japanese dagashi

An infusion of culture and deliciousness awaits in this Japanese candy set.

Best for ages: 8 and up

Candy is an obligatory Easter basket treat, but there’s no rule saying you must stick with chocolate bunnies or Cadbury mini eggs. If you’re a parent to an older kid, instead opt for Japanese candy like Hi-Chew, super popular with older tweens and teens right now.

I often find a variety basket on Amazon, allowing you to explore different snacks from the Asian country. This basket comes with 30 different treats and an English-language guide that explains ingredients and potential allergens.

From gummies and gums to fried ramen and a powdered drink, your tween can taste test for flavors that break from the usual suspects—Peeps.

Keep the fun and save the hassle by stashing reusable stickers in your kids Easter baskets. This six-pack comes with themed books, including animals and vehicles, as well as 180 stickers that can be used repeatedly without any gummy residue.
