To say the Lululemon Everywhere Belt Bag is a phenomenon would be an understatement. This bag is indeed everywhere and it was hard not to notice, especially when I didn’t have one. So finally, earlier this year, I succumbed to the trend and purchased one for myself. It wasn’t until after I had a bag of my own that I realized the hype and why some fans of the bag own it in every color.
We’ve previously tested and loved other products from Lululemon, including their wildly popular Align leggings and cult-favorite men’s ABC pants. Keep scrolling to see what I thought about the Everywhere Belt Bag.
What is the Lululemon Belt Bag?
Lululemon, the athletic and leisurewear brand, has a cult-like following, and for a good reason. The consistent, high-quality, and trend-setting athleticwear is comfortable and stylish, so even in the throws of an intense workout, you look good.
The Lululemon Everywhere Belt Bag is no exception to the style and quality we’ve grown to expect from the brand. The 1-liter bag was released by the brand in 2018 and has taken the world by storm. Every time I step outside, I see someone wearing it. It makes sense that everyone has invested in a piece that is versatile, water-repellent, compact, and affordable.
The Everywhere Belt Bag 1L comes in 11 colors, and Lululemon also offers a larger 2L version of the bag in 16 colors as well as a mini belt bag in eight colors.
This wildly popular fanny pack is versatile, spacious, affordable, and absolutely worth it.
What I like about the Lululemon Belt Bag
It is small but mighty
Although this bag looks small, it’s size is ideal for your daily essentials: Phone, keys, wallet, AirPods, sunglasses, and more.
Despite its small appearance, this bag holds everything I could possibly need. It fits my phone, wallet, keys, Kindle, Airpods, sunglasses, and then some. Its multiple compartments make it easy to find what you're looking for. Plus, the zippered compartment closest to the body feels extra secure and allowed me to carry my passport without fear of being pick-pocketed while traveling in Europe. All the while, the bag looks and feels compact, never overpowering your outfit.
It goes with everything
One of my favorite things about this bag is the fact that it works for so many occasions and outfits. Running errands, going for a hike, or grabbing lunch with my friends, I know I can grab this bag and feel good about the way it looks. In black, the bag goes with everything and keeps the focus on my outfit while also keeping my essentials at arm's reach.
It’s comfortable
Whether I opt for the crossbody, or the fanny pack look, the bad is so comfortable I’ll often forget that I’m wearing it. Its adjustable strap makes it easy to switch between the two configurations. Thanks to its size, it never feels cumbersome, unlike other crossbody bag options. It stays close to the body, so if you’re taking it for a walk, run, or hike, it doesn’t flop around.
What I don’t like about the Lululemon Belt Bag
Not much
There’s nothing to dislike about the Lululemon Everywhere Belt Bag.
I thought long and hard about something I didn’t like about this bag, and I couldn’t think of anything. Not a flaw comes to mind. It ticks every box I could hope for from a bag this size. Lululemon’s design team was clearly very thoughtful with every element, and it shows.
Is the Lululemon Belt Bag worth it?
Yes!
At under $40, the Lululemon Everywhere Belt Bag is a great bag to have around
I can’t remember my life before I owned this bag. Well, that’s a little dramatic, but I do wear it every day for all sorts of occasions, and it makes me very happy. I’ve had it for a little over six months now and it shows no signs of wear or tear. I’m confident I will have this for a long time, but if and when it ever breaks, I would easily spend the $38 to replace it.
