The biggest day of the football offseason is over, as the 2024 NFL Draft ended on Saturday, April 27. Luckily for you, the first NFL game of the season kicks off in a few months on Thursday, September 5 with the reigning champion Kansas City Chiefs. When was the 2024 NFL Draft?

The 2024 NFL Draft started on Thursday, April 25 and wrapped up with the seventh and final round on Saturday, April 27. There were more than 250 players drafted over the course of seven rounds, with every round taking place in Detroit, Michigan around Campus Martius Park and Hart Plaza.

After an action-packed NFL Draft, the 2024-25 season is gearing up to be an exciting one.

To start the 2024 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears used the No. 1 overall pick (which they received from the Carolina Panthers last year) on former USC quarterback Caleb Williams. The next two picks, courtesy of the Washington Commanders and New England Patriots, were also used on QBs. They drafted Jayden Daniels and Drake Maye, respectively.

How to watch NFL games

The 2024-25 NFL season will officially start on Thursday, September 5, as the reigning champion Kansas City Chiefs will prepare for an opponent that's yet to be announced. While we don't have all the exact scheduling details at the moment, we know the playoffs are set to begin on Saturday, January 11, 2025 and the 59th Super Bowl will kick off on Sunday, February 9, 2025.

How to stream the NFL on Peacock

Brazil is hosting its first NFL game ever during Week 1 on Friday, September 6, and you can exclusively stream it on Peacock. This unique game will take place in São Paulo and be an NFC clash between the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers.

Along with this International Series game, Peacock will simulcast NBC games (primarily Sunday Night Football).
